REVIEWS:<\/strong><\/p>\n The following reviews are from various sources across the internet and not the opinions of AHG Golf.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Callaway Big Bertha B21 fairway wood is the easiest-to-launch fairway wood that I\u2019ve ever hit.\u00a0 Excellent ball speed.\u00a0 Not as draw biased as expected.\u00a0 Unusual look at address.<\/p>\n The Big Bertha name has been part of Callaway Golf for a long time.\u00a0 At times it\u2019s been assigned to clubs for better players, but for the B21 line, it\u2019s back on clubs designed for players who want some help hitting the ball straighter, farther, and more consistently.\u00a0 As someone who could use help in those areas when it comes to fairway woods, I was very eager to test the Big Bertha B21.<\/p>\n The Callaway Big Bertha B21 fairway wood\u00a0stands out in its appearance at address<\/strong>.\u00a0 What I first noticed is the\u00a0offset<\/strong>.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t have the wild gooseneck of yesteryear\u2019s offset fairway woods, but it is noticeable.\u00a0 The other thing that really caught my eye is how\u00a0shallow<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0face<\/strong>\u00a0is.\u00a0 I can\u2019t think of another fairway wood with a face that\u2019s this slim.<\/p>\n In addition to the shape, the B21 fairway wood has a dark blue crown with Callaway\u2019s signature fade to carbon fiber.\u00a0 There\u2019s also a thin red stripe on either side of the chevron alignment aid.\u00a0 Finally, Big Bertha branding appears on the back edge of the crown.<\/p>\n In the bag, the Big Bertha B21 has a bold appearance<\/strong>\u00a0that had me thinking back to some of the Big Bertha offerings from the mid-2010\u2019s.\u00a0 The sole is navy blue with red accents and a large patch of metallic grey through the middle.\u00a0 Callaway\u2019s Jailbreak Technology is visible on the sole, as is a weight at the rear of the head.<\/p>\n Striking a good shot with the Big Bertha B21 fairway wood produces a\u00a0high pitched metallic \u201cclink\u201d with slightly above average volume<\/strong>.\u00a0 It\u2019s a pronounced version of what I consider a prototypical fairway wood sound, and it was a wonderful reward for making a good swing.<\/p>\n Feedback from the B21 fairway wood was better than I expected.\u00a0 Missing the center of the face dulls the sound noticeably, and you can easily feel mishits in your hands.<\/p>\n I have never hit a fairway wood that is this easy to launch.\u00a0 Full stop.<\/strong>\u00a0 If, like me, you struggle with fairway woods because you don\u2019t launch them high enough or consistently enough, go try the Big Bertha B21 fairway wood right now.\u00a0 Thank me later.<\/p>\n When I first set down the B21 fairway wood, I thought, \u201cThis face is super shallow.\u00a0 I hope it delivers on being easy to launch.\u201d\u00a0 And it did.\u00a0\u00a0It launches high, it launches easily, and it launches consistently.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0My thin shots were launching at over 10 degrees.\u00a0 I launched a couple shots at 16 degrees.\u00a0 It was so far from the norm for me that I actually made a note to check the loft, which was actually 15 degrees.<\/p>\n Launch isn\u2019t the only story here.\u00a0 Thanks to AI-designed Flash Face and Jailbreak Technology,\u00a0the B21 fairway wood is also really fast<\/strong>.\u00a0 Smash factors of 1.5 were not unusual during my testing.<\/p>\n The other thing that Callaway is touting with the Big Bertha B21 is the slice-busting.\u00a0 This is the one thing that made me nervous because I hate hitting hooks.\u00a0 I was surprised to find that,\u00a0despite the offset, the B21 doesn\u2019t really want to hook<\/strong>.\u00a0 Yes, my dispersion was a little more left than normal, but it was very playable.\u00a0 My shots went straight or drew, which is a combination I can certainly live with in a fairway wood.<\/p>\n Finally, if you\u2019re debating between the MAVRIK MAX and the Big Bertha B21, Callaway has a useful chart comparing their two most forgiving fairway woods.\u00a0 To summarize, the Big Bertha B21 fairway wood has more offset, higher launch, a shallower face, and more forgiveness.\u00a0\u00a0The MAVRIK MAX is easy to hit; the Big Bertha B21 practically swings itself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Virtually every club that\u2019s released these days comes with big promises, but few deliver on them like the Callaway Big Bertha B21 fairway wood.\u00a0 This club makes the long game so much easier thanks to its high, easy launch and a little help in keeping the ball from slicing.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve sworn off fairway woods, give this one a try, you won\u2019t regret it.<\/p>\nCallaway Big Bertha B21 Fairway Wood Review<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
