Noticeable improvements from the G15 help to make this an excellent fairway wood. The launch was high without spinning too much, which is ideal for long shots into greens. The shallow face works well, but those who use a fairway from the tee might like something slightly deeper. PGA Pro verdict If the driver was anything to go by, this had to be a winner. It didn\u2019t disappoint! I really like its feel and flight. The shallow face made launching the ball easy, regardless of the lie, and it gave a really nice long high trajectory. Off the tee, it was even easier, and sometimes was up with my driver in distance. The club sat very square at address, which is an important factor for me. Compared to the G15 fairway wood the Ping G20 has a larger head and face to help improve forgiveness and add confidence. An external weight port low and back in the head should help to launch the ball high without adding too much spin. The face is also shallower to make it easier to hit from a variety of lies.<\/p>\n

The Ping G20 fairway wood will suit anyone who wants a forgiving wood to use from the fairway.<\/p>\n
