    The Tyne\u2019s fanged back spreads mass and increases MOI performance. It\u2019s a favourite of Lee Westwood. A milled aluminium face insert has variable depth and width grooves to deliver consistent ball speed performance across the face, which Ping says helps reduce your 3-putt potential. Feel\u2019s enhanced by a high-energy elastomer insert behind the face.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    A lovely stretched prong design with a really simple, clean look at address. We loved how the prongs show the heads path away from the ball, and how the single sightline really focuses attention on your intended impact location. One tester felt how the topline flows into the back really encouraged him to hit \u201cup\u201d on putts meaning the Tyne rolled putts beautifully.<\/p>\n

    There\u2019s nothing flash or fussy about the Tyne, so we reckon its well suited to golfers who like simple designs and probably find some of the other leading MOI models too distracting. For golfers with slightly arcing strokes there\u2019s also a \u201cH\u201d (hosel) model which doesn\u2019t have a double bend shaft.<\/p>\n

    Ping Sigma G Tyne Putter Review: Verdict<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Ping have huge pedigree when it comes to putters, and because the Tyne can already be found amongst other winning models in Ping\u2019s gold putter vault it\u2019s highly likely to be around for some time to come. A very solid, stable and unfussy MOI putter. If you\u2019re in the business of making sure you get the most out of any new purchase it\u2019s well worth taking Ping up on the offer of custom fitting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
